Lowell Devils AHL Hockey

Lowell Devils

The Lowell Devils are the AHL minor league hockey affiliate of the NHL New Jersey Devils, and they play in downtown Lowell at Tsongas Arena. Ticket prices are very affordable - especially when compared to attending a Boston Bruins hockey game. The players skate their hearts out on the ice, and the games are full of action as minor league hockey players play with the hopes of being called up to the pros. With seating for up to 3,000 visitors, the Lowell Memorial Auditorium features events of all types and sizes, including Broadway-style shows, intimate concerts, plays, conventions, business meetings, and small sporting events (like boxing and wrestling matches). The Lowell Auditorium is home to some of the best cultural activities in the city of Lowell, and it is located in one of the most recognizable buildings in the city.

The Lowell Spinners are the Single A minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. For the past several seasons, the Spinners have sold out every home game at LeLacheur Park. Compared to tickets to a Sox game at Fenway Park, Spinners tickets are a much better value, and you still get to see some great baseball. It will cost you less to take your family to dinner and a Spinners game than it would cost for one ticket at Fenway!

Former Spinners players that have made it up to the Major Leagues include Red Sox stars Jonathan Papelbon, Kevin Youkilis, and Jacoby Ellsbury.This is a great way to spend a summer night!

The men's hockey team competes in NCAA Division I, and they are always contending for the National Championship against the best schools in the nation. The team plays its home games in front of a full house at Tsongas Arena. You can watch future NHL stars play college hockey when you attend a RiverHawks hockey game.
