Leading voices on climate change science, mitigation and adaptation will be speaking at this year’s Climate Change Teach In. Among them:
· Jeff Goodell, contributing editor to Rolling Stone magazine, and author of “How to Cool the Planet: Geoengineering and the Audacious Quest to Fix Earth’s Climate”;
· Associate Prof. Juliette Rooney-Varga of UMass Lowell, expert on the ecological consequences of climate change as well as the Climate Teach-In lead organizer;
· Prof. Paul Kirshen of Tufts University, lead author for the United Nations Intergovernment Panel on Climate Change and expert on flood risk assessment in New England and beyond.
