The composer was brought to campus by Deb Huber, UMass Lowell’s director of instrumental music outreach and associate director of university bands, who used her Zuckerberg Leadership Prize money to commission original works by composers and have the selections premiered on campus.

Huckeby will rehearse “Mind Sets” with the musicians on Tuesday, May 11 at 5 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
