Tales about obsession, madness and murder will set imaginations spinning when author David Daniel, an award-winning mystery writer, reads from his work in “Insanity Tales II: The Sense of Fear,” during a free event that is open to the public. Daniel, a UMass Lowell faculty member who teaches creative writing in the university’s Division of Online and Continuing Education, is the author of nine novels, more than 80 short stories and a co-author of the textbook, “Take Charge of Your Writing.” Other authors who will read their works from the anthology include Rob Smales, Vlad V. and Ursula Wong. After the readings, the authors will sign copies of the book, which will be available for purchase.
