It’s not too late to register for Middlesex Community College’s 2013 Summer Camps. MCC Summer Camps are designed to provide children with unique opportunities to explore careers, learn new skills, and boost self-confidence. Camps are offered for kids ages 8 to 15 and run July 8 through Aug. 23 on the Bedford and Lowell campuses.

“Digital Photography Camp” gives campers an opportunity to discover and explore the world of photography. Campers will learn about photo composition, lighting, editing, and digital photography software. Students will work on a variety of photo assignments, take field trips, and spend time in a computer lab enhancing and editing images. Campers must bring their own digital camera with available memory and a portable memory stick to camp each day.

Take a step back from technology and tap into your creative side with “Bake and Decorate Camp.” In this new half-day camp, students will learn cake and cupcake decorating tips for all types of special occasions, or just for everyday fun.
MCC Summer Camps are offered Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with some exceptions – including half-day camps. All camps are taught by public school teachers or by professionals who are experts in their field and have experience working with children.
