Lowell Humane Society provides care to animals.

Lowell Humane Society and animal shelter is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals in the Greater Lowell area. They provide medical and nutritional care to homeless, injured, and malnurished animals. Additionally, the organization educates the public about responsible pet ownership, to ensure that local pets receive the proper care and diet. Each year, the Lowell Humane Society receives over 3,000 animals.

Lowell Humane Society relies upon the donations of business and residents of Lowell, Massachusetts to run its daily operations. They also seek volunteers who love animals and want to make a difference in the community.

If you find a homeless pet in Lowell, please give the Humane Society a phone call. They can advise you on how to handle the situation, as it might be dangerous to try and capture an animal in the wild. If you are looking to adopt a pet, LHS may be a great place to find a loving animal to bring home. Often times, shelter animals are in perfectly good health, but they just need a loving family.
