Lowell, MA. Have fun in Lowell during February school vacation week. Join the American Textile History Museum, Barnes & Noble, Enterprise Bank, Girl’s Inc. of Greater Lowell, Lowell National Historical Park, Lowell Parks & Recreation, Lowell Police Department, Lowell Senior Center, New England Quilt Museum, Pollard Memorial Library, The Tsongas Industrial History Center, and United Teen Equality Center for a week filled with entertainment, games, crafts, and storytelling programs during February school vacation week. All activities are FREE of charge! Class size is limited and pre-registration is strongly recommended on some of the events. Here is a sample of the offerings.

“It’s Mardi Gras Time” Stop by the Pollard Memorial Library and get in the festive Mardi Gras mood!  Come on in and make a Mardi Gras souvenir.

“Harry Potter’s Hogwarts School of Penmanship” At the Tsongas Industrial History Center, learn to write like Harry Potter, Ron, and Hermione.  Students at the famous Hogwarts school use quill pens! Receive basic instruction in penmanship using quill pens & ink.  Write a letter to a friend or just practice your writing skills.

“It’s All About Teamwork” Join UTEC Leadership team for a fun filled morning of working together.

Have fun learning some new teamwork games that will foster communication, compromise and having a good time. Join us for some of our favorite “teamwork” themed games “Celebrity Rock, Paper, Scissors”,

“Shark and Surfers”, and the classic “Human Knot”!

“Archeology Quest Treasure Hunt” Become a history detective and test your skills by following the clues through our museum. See if you can find the hidden prizes. Make something felted and fun to take home to remember this special day.

Activities throughout the week include sing-a-longs, movies, discovery workshops, safety classes, story times, play days at Jump On In!, and bingo & pizza.
