
The Devils are the NJ Devils minor league hockey team.
The Lowell Devils professional hockey team was the minor league affiliate of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils. Their inaugural season was in 2006-07, and the team’s last season in Lowell was 2009 – 2010, when the team made the Calder Cup playoffs.
The Devils are members of the AHL’s Eastern Conference, and most of their games are played in various cities on the east coast. Previously, the team was known as the Lowell Lock Monsters. The team now plays in Albany, New York.
The Team played its home games at Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell in Lowell. The Devils hockey season begins in September and runs through April. Members of the team were also active in the greater Lowell community, where they gave time and financial support.
The Lowell Devils were supported in the community by the Lowell Devils Booster Club. The LDBC Advertising events throughout the year to drum up support for the Devils, and they were in attendance at every home game. During the season, they also had trips planned to watch the Devils play out of town games.
