Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust

The Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust is a private, non-profit organization in Lowell, Massachusetts whose mission is “to improve the quality of life for the people of Lowell through the creation, conservation, and preservation of parks, open spaces, and special places.”

The primary goal of the organization is to support local projects that allow people to stay connected to the physical land on which the city of Lowell was built. This includes the forests, parks, rivers, and other natural resources in the Greater Lowell area. Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust is able to achieve their mission by providing:

  • Financial support for city programs
  • Leadership of educational programs and events
  • Assistance with a variety of local projects undertaken to protect the land.

Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust relies on the support of local businesses and organizations to move forward with their efforts as well as the financial support of larger organizations with similar goals. The Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust is made up of over 1,000 members who are dedicated to its efforts.

Financial contributions are greatly appreciated by the Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust, and there are many opportunities for volunteers who wish to assist.
