Thirty five years ago, Bernie Carbo slugged the most iconic pinch-hit home run in Boston Red Sox history. This Thursday , July 8, the World Series hero will visit LeLacheur Park and reunite with Red Sox Nation when the Spinners take on the Jamestown Jammers at 7:05 pm.

Carbo will be on hand to throw the ceremonial first pitch and will be available to sign autographs and take pictures during the game. In addition to Carbo’s visit to LeLacheur Park, meteorologist Al Kaprielian will be in attendance to celebrate his birthday and bobble head night.
