The Lowell Spinners professional baseball team is the minor league affiliate of the 2007 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox. The team was formed in 1996 and is a member of the New York – Penn League. The Spinners play their home games in LeLacheur Park, located just past Lowell City Hall.
With the cost of attending a Sox game at Fenway Park going through the roof, you can entertain your entire family at a Spinners game at a fraction of the cost. The Spinners have sold out every single home baseball game for the past eight seasons, and they have a long waiting list for season tickets.
Spinners alumni who have made significant contributions in the Major Leagues include Red Sox superstars Kevin Youkilis, Jonathan Papelbon and Jacoby Ellsbury. Spinners baseball is a fun way to spend a summer afternoon.
A summer evening doesn’t get better than watching the Spinners play in LeLacheur Park.
