Middlesex Community College has named Frank Nocella Executive Director of Finance/Chief Financial Officer.

“Frank Nocella is an excellent addition to the Middlesex team,” said President James Mabry. “He is an accomplished financial professional dedicated to building open and transparent budget practices, and helping faculty and staff meet the mission of Middlesex.”

Nocella worked at International Paper for 28 years where he was the Group VP of Finance & Administration and CFO. Over the past eight years, he served as CFO and Interim President at Sussex County Community College in Newton, N.J., and CFO at Essex County College in Newark, N.J.

“I look forward to promoting economic sustainability in support of the college mission and providing the pathway to student success for our future community leaders,” said Nocella.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Nocella began his career with KPMG in New York City. He earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York & New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
