
Lowell High School to defend Spinners High School World Series championship against Dracut High School
Lowell, MA - The fourth annual Spinners High School World Series sponsored by the Lowell Spinners kicked off on May 18th with the Lowell High School Red Raiders defeating Metheun High School and Dracut High School defeating Tewksbury High School. Lowell and Dracut will meet this evening in the championship game, where the Red Raiders look to retain the 3-foot Canaligator Bobble Head trophy.
Spinners World Series Championship and Consolation games will be played at LeLacheur Field in downtown Lowell on May 19th at 7:30. Tickets cost $5.00 for adults, and $3.00 for students (children 12 & under and senior citizens are free), and a single ticket will get you in to both ball games. All proceeds from Spinners World Series benefit Lowell Spinners Charities.
The Series is held each year, just a couple of weeks before the start of the Spinners season, and the games are fun for the family. Come out and watch local high school baseball players have fun at LeLacheur Park!
