Lowell, MA - The fourth annual Spinners High School World Series sponsored by the Lowell Spinners kicks off on May 18th with the Championship and Consolation games taking place on the 19th. Lowell High School Red Raiders look to retain the 3-foot Canaligator Bobble Head trophy and defend their 2008 title against Dracut High School, Tewksbury High School, and Methuen High School.
Spinners World Series games are held at LeLacheur Field in downtown Lowell. Tickets cost $5.00 per day for adults, and $3.00 for students (children 12 & under and senior citizens are free). All proceeds from Spinners World Series benefit Lowell Spinners Charities.
The Series is held each year, just a couple of weeks before the start of the Spinners season, and the games are fun for the family. Come out and watch local high school baseball players have fun at LeLacheur Park!
