The Eighth Annual Lowell Open Studios will be held Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th 2008 from 11am to 5pm. Lowell Open Studios is an annual event, always occurring on the last full weekend in September.

The number of participating artists has increased each of the past seven years. This year will have over 110 artists opening their studios throughout Lowell, Massachusetts. The majority of them have studios at Western Avenue Studios but there are also many studios in Downtown Lowell. In addition, there are four art galleries that will be opened: ALL Arts Gallery, Brush Gallery, Ayer Lofts Gallery, and the Whistler House Art Museum.

A shuttle bus will be provided to move visitors from downtown to Western Avenue Studios and back again.
