Rotary Clubs of Lowell raises funds for community projects.

Lowell, Massachusetts is home to the Lowell Rotary Club, which is affiliated with Rotary International, a community service organization that boasts an international membership of over 1.2 million people. The Rotary Club motto of “Service Above Self” is demonstrated in the community service projects sponsored and organized by this Rotary Club.

Rotary Clubs are sponsors of the Interact Club, which is found at local high schools, including Lowell Hig hSchool. This gives high school students the opportunity to participate in community service activities under the guidance of community leaders who make up the Rotary Club. Members of the Lowell Rotary Club include local politicians, entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers and other businesspeople who work or live in Lowell.

The Rotary Club of Lowell is a member of Rotary International District 7910 (Central MA), and the Club meets every Tuesday afternoon at 12:15pm at Caffe Paradiso in Downtown Lowell.

The mission of Rotary International, a worldwide association of Rotary clubs, is to provide service to others, to promote high ethical standards, and to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
