UMass Lowell officials and Deborah Belanger, executive director of the Greater Merrimack Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau, will gather with members of the rowing community and others for:

• an announcement about the UMass Lowell rowing program
• a celebration of opening day of the Northeast Regional Junior Rowing Championships
• and a ceremonial re-naming of the UMass Lowell Bellegarde Boathouse
