
Lowell Senior Center provides help to Lowell seniors.
Senior citizens living in Lowell, Massachusetts have a place to turn for assistance. Lowell’s Council on Aging is a Senior Citizen’s Center that provides a multitude of services for the elderly who live in Lowell. Lowell Senior Center offers everything from educational programs to fun social activities to keep minds sharp and people active. The elderly of Lowell (or their family members) are encouraged to get in touch with the Council on Aging to see how the agency can help make their lives better.
A non-profit organization that works closely with Lowell’s Senior Center is the Friends of Lowell Council on Aging. The Friends group participates in a variety of fundraising efforts to help raise funds for the Senior Center. The funds that are raised is used to purchase supplies for the Senior Center building, and they are also used to help offset the cost of special Senior Center events such as their Annual Outing, Friday Socials and Bingo.
