Restaurant Showcase Week kicks off on July 29th at Lowell’s LeLacheur Park, home of the Lowell Spinners, with the Summer Sam Fest celebration. The public is invited to experience food samplings from the participating restaurants and take part in the Sam Adams comparative beer tasting while enjoying live music provided by Jen Kearney and the Lost Onion.

There is a $5.00 fee for 5 restaurant food samples at the Summer Sam Fest celebration, and all proceeds from this will be given to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank in Lowell. For more information about the opening event or about Restaurant Week, visit the GMVCVB website.

Summer Sam Fest Parking is available at the UML Parking Garage on Pawtucket Street as well as the lots directly across the street from the LeLachuer Park. Parking is $5.00. To enter the Summer Sam Fest, use Entrance C. Get ready to enjoy good eats, good beer and good blues! See you then.
