Mass Audubon Exhibit

Mass Audubon’s Moose Hill Wildlife Gallery is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibit “Transforming Nature’s Metaphors: Rhythms of Color and Spirit,” a special exhibit featuring Lowell, Massachusetts artist Laurie Simko.

This exhibit brings together the vibrant, colorful and flawless dynamism of three distinctive artists. Ann Christensen, Diane Chester-Demicco and Laurie Simko embrace their individual technique and composition yet unite together in a remarkable rhythm of color and spirit.

The imagery and power of natural metaphors are transformed and fused together to create bold surges of energy and style through oil, cold-worked glass and a synthesis of mixed media.

Come for a “Meet the Artists” Reception on Sunday, May 23rd, 2- 4 p.m. The exhibit will run through July 12, 2010.
Mass Audubon’s Moose Hill Wildlife Gallery is located at 293 Moose Hill Street in Sharon, Massachusetts, and it is open from 10a.m. – 4p.m. daily. For more information, visit the Gallery website or the website of Laurie Simko.
