Konarka Technologies presents its annual Tripathy Endowed Memorial Lecture, which introduces world-renowned scientists and their fields of study. This year, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Prof. Timothy Swager will speak on “Chemistry and Applications of Carbon Nanotubes.” These nanotubes have unique properties that can potentially be used in a variety of fields, ranging from nanomanufacturing to body armor.
The Tripathy Lecture was founded in 2002 in honor of the late Sukant Tripathy, a UMass Lowell professor whose research led to the formation of Konarka. The event aims to engage the university community in emerging science and technology.
