Rec Kids Summer Camp

RecKids summer camp registration now open.

RecKids is a recreational day camp for children between the ages of 6 and 11 years old. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment where learning and fun can go hand in hand. RecKids is about youth development and helping our children realize the potential in themselves, while at the same time building leadership skills, respect, teamwork, communication skills and social connections.

A variety of recreational sports and leisure activities are offered during each session. The camp activities are very similar to those found in a physical education class. Campers are assigned to groups according to their age. A majority of the camp will be held at the UMass Lowell Campus Recreation Center (CRC), a 19.1 million dollar facility that has been open since 2002. Inside the CRC there are 3 multipurpose basketball courts, 2 racqueball courts, a squash court, 2 aerobics studios, a 2-floor fitness center, and 1/10 of a mile indoor track.
