Boarding House Park

Boarding House Park is a lush, grassy park located in downtown Lowell, Massachusetts. It serves as an outdoor music venue that plays host to the Lowell Summer Music Series and the Lowell Folk Festival each summer. There are no reserved seating areas in the park, and concert seating is typically general admission, with blankets and beach chairs welcomed. Boarding House Park is part of the famed Boott Mills complex, once the location of one of Lowell’s industrial revolution-era cotton mills.

LeLacheur Park

Edward A. Lelacheur Park is a baseball stadium located on the Merrimack River in Lowell, Massachusetts. The ballpark is home to the Lowell Spinners, the Single A minor league afiliate of the Boston Red Sox, as well as the UMass Lowell River Hawks baseball team. Designed by HOK Sport and opened in 1998, LeLacheur Park was built by the city of Lowell in partnership with UMass Lowell, and it sits adjacent to the UMass Lowell campus.

Lowell Memorial Auditorium

With seating for up to 3,000 visitors, the Lowell Memorial Auditorium features events of all types and sizes, including Broadway-style shows, intimate concerts, plays, conventions, business meetings, and small sporting events (like boxing and wrestling matches). The Lowell Auditorium is home to some of the best cultural activities in the city of Lowell, and it is located in one of the most recognizable buildings in the city.

Sampas Pavilion

Sampas Pavilion is an outdoor concert and event venue located along the Merrimack River in Lowell, Massachusetts. Sampas is part of the Lowell Heritage State Park, and it is used by a number of organizations for annual events held in Lowell, including the African Festival, Southeast Asian Water Festival, and Merrimack Valley’s fireworks show on the Independence Day.
