LeLacheur Park

Lowell Spinners play baseball at LeLacheur Park in Lowell.

Edward A. Lelacheur Park is a baseball stadium located on the Merrimack River in Lowell, Massachusetts. The ballpark is home to the Lowell Spinners, the Single A minor league afiliate of the Boston Red Sox, as well as the UMass Lowell River Hawks baseball team.

Designed by HOK Sport and opened in 1998, LeLacheur Park was built by the city of Lowell in partnership with UMass Lowell, and it sits adjacent to the UMass Lowell campus. The Park was named after Edward A. LeLacheur, a city leader who helped the city in its redevelopment efforts.

With a seating capacity of just under 5,000, LeLecheur is an old-school ballpark with all of the modern comforts, including luxury boxes and comfortable seats. The Lowell Spinners are a popular alternative to attending a Sox game at Fenway Park, and the team set a record for sold out home games.

Special events can be held at LeLacheur Park, and arrangements should be made through the Lowell Spinners. Events that can be held include banquets, corporate events, conventions, concerts, and photo shoots.
